Roger has overall responsibilities for the operation. He has been with Bestar Singapore for more than 10 years. He has led the firm through key growth milestones.
With more than 29 years of accounting experience, Roger has considerable experience working on due diligence and transaction support work in relation to acquisitions and restructuring carried out by many of his wide range of clients.
Roger has extensive experience in providing business advisory services to a broad range of clients including technology, food and beverage, construction, manufacturing and trading companies. He is also experienced in strategic planning, reorganization and operations improvement projects for various local companies as part of their globalization and listing efforts.
Roger graduated with Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the Australian National University. He is a Member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), CPA Australia and Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals (SIATP).

Chris joined Bestar Hong Kong in 2022. Prior to this role, Chris was a Finance Leader in the logistic industry in charge of the Asia Pacific region. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Chris has been involved in debt financing, debt restructurings, corporate restructuring, and merger and acquisition transactions to help entities to manage their risk and create value. He has been heavily involved in corporate governance and systems of internal control for enterprises.
His experience spans acquisition and disposal structuring and due diligence advice, establishing joint-ventures and tax-efficient structuring for businesses in Asia Pacific.
Chris advises companies on their growth and innovation strategies, helping them optimize portfolios, identify and assess new market growth opportunities, and reimagine future business models. He has also helped companies with their cross-border business and investment, supporting them in exploring new markets and refining their operations.
Chris began his career with Arthur Andersen Hong Kong in 1996. During his more than 4 years of professional experience, he had extensive practical experience in the audit and business advisory services to a broad range of major listed clients, ranging from multinational corporations and large foreign-invested enterprises, to state-owned and local privately-owned companies. He also worked in Arthur Andersen Canada for 6 months. Chris has proficient knowledge in PRC GAAP and IFRS. In addition, he had been actively involved in due diligence projects for mergers and acquisitions, as well as a number of initial public offerings made by Hong Kong and PRC enterprises to raise funds in Hong Kong.
Chris advised private equity and corporate clients across a wide range of sectors and industries, including retail, pharmaceutical, technology, manufacturing and services.
Chris is a Certified Public Accountant in Hong Kong and Fellow member of ACCA. He holds an honours degree in Business Administration, The University of Hong Kong and a Master degree in Philosophy (Accountancy), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
